During my 12 month contract as Marketing and Communications Officer at Trevi, the South-West’s leading women’s charity, I played a key role in developing and executing digital communications strategies that significantly amplified both Trevi's online and offline presence.Social Media Management: Responsible for creating content and managing social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Achieved a 2,400% increase in organic social media engagement through a comprehensive cross-platform strategy.Campaigns: Created and spearheaded Trevi's Euro 2024 campaign, 'Show Violence Against Women and Girls the Red Card', creating campaign assets, producing a video, and executing a targeted social media strategy. Managed campaign partnerships with organisations such as Plymouth Argyle, the Devon FA and Her Game Too, enhancing campaign impact and visibility. Contributed to Trevi’s award-winning ‘ENOUGH’ campaign through digital communication efforts. Internal Communications: Managed design and copy of the monthly staff newsletter, ensuring consistent and engaging internal messaging and enhancing staff communication. External Communications: Crafted written content for supporters, including blogs, to share unique, narrative-driven stories. Responsible for creation and design of event packs, ensuring fundraisers are well informed. Graphic design: Design of graphic assets for social media, print materials, and event branding.

I am proud to have been a participant in the Time to Shine Programme by the Rank Foundation, a highly regarded 12-month leadership and development initiative within the social sector. Designed to enhance both individual and organisational capacity, the programme provided me with the opportunity to deliver sustainable improvements to the Marketing and Communications team at Trevi Women. As a Time to Shine Leader, I engaged in a comprehensive programme of personal and professional development. This included attending residential events, participating in Action Learning sets, and receiving mentorship from experienced professionals within the Rank Network. The programme’s dual focus on individual growth and organisational impact ensured I benefitted from targeted development opportunities, networking, and access to RankNet, the Rank Foundation's online platform for training and sector support.

The Mixup are a digital music and lifestyle blog. My role required the delivery of high-quality written content, reviews and press releases for musicians. During this time, I complied a series of reviews of musical releases, ensuring I wrote to a timely and efficient manner, whilst maintaining high-quality writing. I was tasked with writing several press releases for musicians to help publicise new music, developing my media relation skills. Furthermore, I was responsible for liaising with musical artists and their management to organise collaboration. Many of these relationships required ongoing communication to ensure fluidity when working together in the future.
