I work side by side with doctors, physician assistants, and specialty nurses in urology to provide an accuracy recount of appointments in high volume, fast paced environments. Utilizing AthenaHealth and Epic EMRs, I transcribe diagnoses, treatment plans, and in depth discussions on concerns of patients, imaging results and conclusions, and am responsible for ordering labs and further imaging when appropriate. This experience has taught me immensely on medical terminology within a urological domain and effective communication skills between physicians and patients.

I was an Organic Chemistry 1 laboratory assistant at Hendrix College. This experience taught me more than just how to communicate laboratory techniques and findings. When I was taking Organic Chemistry in college, I was a virtual student who unfortunately was not able to perform and properly learn various fundamentals. I took this opportunity as a way to feed the inner part of me who loves to teach but to also take the chance to learn these fundamentals for myself as well as challenge myself to then assist in teaching these techniques. I had additional responsibilities of stocking our lab room and preparing solutions for upcoming labs in Organic Chemistry and Environmental Science
