I am currently an Assistant Psychologist within TEWV's Adult Eating Disorders Team, working across community, day-service and inpatient settings.

Researching into interventions for perfectionism in students. Perfectionism can be extremely maladaptive and leads to procrastination. In researching into the impact of interventions to prevent this and potentially implementing them, this can lead to better prospects for students. I will be researching the topic, working with groups on a peer-led intervention, and deciphering results of the study.

I work part-time at Boots as a Customer Advisor. This has required communication skills, organisation and time-management outside of university in a real-world professional setting- Helping customers with choosing and locating products- Up-selling promotional products- Serving customers at tills- Distributing products around the store- Stock presentation

- Working directly with vulnerable 13-18 year olds, co-ordinating and running schemes aimed at increasing self-belief, preventing future mental health issues and increasing aspirations.- Analysis and interpretation of statistical data of mental health measures (RCADS and RSA)- Currently completing LMS Level 3 Counselling Diploma- Charity representation at networking events- Administration- Advertisement- Branding and Social Media

In this role I witnessed the detail that goes into the running of an e-commerce company. My personal roll involved ensuring products were undamaged and sorting a huge variety of products into their correct locations within a production line, working weekends and unsociable hours. The cultural and age diversity amongst my colleagues enhanced my communication skills.
