Sports Caravans - TV monthly documentary is aired by ESPN Brazil.Sports Caravans are a social initiative of Disney and ESPN in partnership with UNICEF, the Sports and Education Institute and the Mpumalanga Institute. Each month, children and adolescents in a different vulnerable community in Brazil participate in a three-day clinic that includes instruction in football, volleyball, tennis, taekwondo, basketball and other sports, taught by specialized teachers and inspired by national and international athletes. Workshops for local teachers show them how to include sports and physical activities in the daily lives of children in their communitiesThe program helps communities to engage children and teachers with sports, public involvement, comprehensive education, community-building, respect for diversity, and enhancement of local culture.
