Hi! Welcome to my profile! My name is Isabel Carpenter, but I prefer to go by Izzy. I am a Junior at the University of Central Arkansas studying Accounting. I am finishing my bachelor's and will be done in the spring of 2025. I believe that I am much different from my colleagues because of my work ethic and work-life balance. When I was in high school, I completed an entire year of college and could graduate with my associate's degree just a year after high school. I was raised to have a strong work ethic and serve people. I love work and to do everything to the best of my ability. This has come in handy with school and I think it will for my future career as well. In my previous customer service job of three years, I learned many skills. While they don't all directly help me with my accounting degree, they are valuable nonetheless. I learned how to deal with difficult situations under pressure as well as difficult people. I learned how to pick up on tasks quickly (which if we're frank I could do before but it made me better at). I grew in my ability to work with others as a team and coordinate the workload to get tasks done. I appreciate that job and everything it taught me. I can't wait to see all the things I learn in the rest of my degree and all of the things life brings my way!
