Isabel completed her PhD in the School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Melbourne. Her research explores the experiences of emergency service volunteers, and the importance of building relationships with households to support preparedness for disaster risk reduction (incl. climate change adaptation).She currently works as a senior project officer at the Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience as part of the knowledge development team.
