As the Manager, Wellness Program, San Francisco, I lead a dynamic team providing a medically tailored meal intervention to vulnerable and chronically ill persons in San Francisco. I oversee all day-to-day activities regarding direct supervision of the Client Services team, and service delivery and quality improvement, as set forth by contracts, funders, annual goals and objectives. I am responsible for program and administrative management as well as developing and implementing program policies and procedures that help meet agency-wide goals, contract objectives, and data-driven outcomes. I work closely with Leadership to create functional strategies and specific objectives for the and am a champion in the community by forging and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders such as partner organizations, clinics, and hospitals.

My responsibilities have expanded to coordinate new services to vulnerable and chronically ill persons in San Francisco, Alameda County, and the surrounding Bay Area in addition to the responsibilities of my previous position. In this position, I oversee all day-to-day activities for various special projects such as research studies, pilots, and demonstration projects. I also continue to develop and maintain strategic relationships in the community as well as forge partnerships with key stakeholders, such as partner organizations, clinics and hospitals, and government institutions. I am responsible for the implementation of key projects that advance the medically-tailored meal intervention movement, in particular the three-year contract POH holds with the Administration for Community Living. I have a key role in building and implementing this new program across three Bay Area counties.

As Outreach Coordinator at Project Open Hand, I have an instrumental role in linking potential clients to programs and services offered by the agency. Through building relationships and liaising with community partners, I strengthen referral sources and find new opportunities for growth across our programming. I also manage and staff our mobile pantry services, bridging the access gap for clients limited by mobility, geography or other factors. During the COVID-19 pandemic shelter-in-place order, I expanded these services, adding another pantry location to reach more clients in need. Since taking the helm of this program, client participation in mobile services has more than quadrupled.

- Increased by 25% multivitamin distribution (children ages 0-5 and lactating women) in underserved Quechua communities through cultivating new local relationships; developed and delegated tasks; managed program logistics; liaised with community health workers to coordinate success of program. - Launched pilot program administering Vitamin A supplements and anti-parasite medication; managed outreach to and retention of over 150 participants; wrote and edited program materials; collaborated across teams to implement material in community health worker training curriculum.- Implemented administrative database to track program information and efficiency; collected, evaluated, and reported on program data and community health worker performance, produced analysis of community impact, stakeholder feedback, and grant compliance.- Developed new curricula for low-literacy population on culturally-relevant preventive health topics: - Wrote education materials on complementary feeding, nutrition, and maternal health. - Created agendas for community-wide workshops and facilitated trainings for over 40 participants. - Monitored retention of material and deliverables through close tracking of quarterly reviews.- Trained community-elected health workers (CHWs) from rural Peru to act as a health resource for their remote villages; supervise and tracked the progress of CHWs to aid their mastery of the curriculum.
