Lifelong equestrian with a background in Hunter/Jumper and decade + intensive focus on Dressage. I have my USDF Bronze and Silver Medals, and I am an L Graduate. I have many miles with young horses of all stripes under my belt and am a quiet, feeling rider. I teach adult amateurs, and I always treat my students encouragingly and with respect. I most enjoy helping students ride better. It's really that simple! I also love producing horses from green broke to their first few seasons of competition. I have a good eye for matching horses and riders and love finding just the right horse for a client.I think practical, sympathetic horsemanship sets riders up to succeed. I make a study of good horse husbandry practices because I think that the details of turnout, nutrition, tack and equipment fit, ground skills, routine health maintenance, safety, and fitness all matter in bringing out the best in a horse and rider team. In my "regular" life, I like to cook, hang out with my husband and dog, do yoga, (and ok, watch stallion and sales videos...)and I nearly always have a few books open and podcasts playing in the truck.
