Since over a decade, Isabel has developed a career path at the intersection of creative industries, entrepreneurship, cultural urbanism and innovation. She has experience in different fields across the value chain of the creative economy: she has served as a consultant for corporate projects (José Cuervo, Coca Cola, Fundación Televisa), for entrepreneurs and seed capital funds (Numa México and ALLVP), public cultural institutions (Museo Nacional de Arte, MUAC), and government offices (Mexico’s Ministry of Culture and Presidential Office). Isabel holds an MA in Cultural & Creative Industries from King’s College London and a BA in Media & Communication from Universiad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She has experience as a producer, independent cultural manager and radio broadcaster (MVS & IMER). In 2019, The British Council named her one of the top 10 creative leaders in Mexico. In 2015, she founded AURA, a cultural and creative consultancy that has developed an ample vision and a complex understanding of the creative economy and innovative projects for the sector and clients such as the British Council, Interamerican Development Bank, Open Society Foundations, MUAC-UNAM, SOMA, Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes, Federal Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Culture of Jalisco, Citibanamex, Arca, among others.
