I am a Purdue University junior majoring in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Management. My background in Biomedical Engineering provided a strong foundation in problem-solving and analysis, which now drives my passion for optimizing efficiency and managing complex systems, particularly in supply chain management. Currently, I serve as a mentor for sophomores in the IE 200 course, where I guide students through their Industrial Engineering journey at Purdue. This role has been incredibly fulfilling, allowing me to share valuable insights and help others navigate their academic and professional paths. As an active member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, I contribute to our philanthropy, "Building Strong Girls", through our partnership with "Girls on the Run", an organization that empowers young girls. This experience has honed my leadership skills, giving me opportunities to support and strengthen our sisterhood, while fostering a sense of community and teamwork. Additionally, my experience as a Sales Associate in the fashion industry has enhanced my communication and interpersonal skills, providing me with a unique perspective on customer relations and operations. As the Outreach Committee Head for the STEMpower Club at Purdue, I lead initiatives to inspire young students to develop STEM skills and pursue their passions. With a Management minor, I bring a strategic, holistic approach to problem-solving, which, combined with my passion for Industrial Engineering, prepares me to contribute effectively to supply chain management and other industrial sectors.
