Taught English in the school's three fourth grade classrooms, focusing on reading, grammar, spelling, and writing. Managed the homeroom of one of the fourth grade classrooms, which includes sending weekly reports to parents, communicating essential information to parents, and guiding students through a variety of situations that arise during the school year. Revised the fourth grade English content and collaborated with the elementary school English teachers to update the school's learning objectives and sequences in that area. Planned the fourth grade English curriculum for academic year 2010 and 2011, adding a writing section which did not previously exist.

Collaborated with the clinical director in the development of a parenting manual. Created the curriculum for group counseling for children and adolescents on the subjects of self-esteem, body image, and teenage pregnancy. Participated in a variety of trainings in play therapy techniques. Conducted play therapy with children who had witnessed domestic violence.

Worked with the Development director promoting and organizing events and fundraisers for the organization. Put together a newsletter describing the various activities that took place throughout the year.

Developed curriculum for a 9th grade literacy tutoring program. Tutored several 9th grade students in the program.

Attended weekly meetings where social psychology doctoral students presented on their research and held research-related discussions with undergraduate students. Ran participants through various experiments regarding uncertainty and ego- depletion. Entered data acquired from the experiments into SPSS.

Assisted the pre-K English teacher during lessons and in creating activities for the students. Substituted for the Spanish kindergarten teacher for two days. Helped the school's psychology department by administering cognitive tests to preschool students to evaluate their progress.
