A five day course covering various aspects of experiments carried out in the real life lab industry. This included the skills listed below, and safety procedures such as COSHH forms and different protocols for the varying bio safety levels.

Three day medicine work experience at Wythenshawe hospital shadowing physicians in the cardiology department. This included observing clinic sessions, echocardiograms, exercise stress tests and regular ward check ins.
