Designed and implemented a 500-gallon bioactive tank with advanced filtration and fluid mechanics for sustainable aquatic habitats.Conducted research to optimize habitat integration within self-regulating hydroponic systems, generating schematic designs and SolidWorks models for clear communication with non-engineering stakeholders.Led community education initiatives on plant and invertebrate biology and sustainable practices in Washington, DC.

 Implemented and designs STEM and ELA lesson plans interest in under resourced and minority households for students 5th-8th grade among a team of multicultural peers.  Innovated interdisciplinary learning by intertwining topics of politics, civil rights, STEM, and ELA to maximize student engagement in remote and in-person learning.

Hosted a professional development show titled, Avoiding Destiny, in which I scouted interesting interviewees and designed an interview isolating their unique life perspectives across a variety of topics to appeal to a wide young adult audience on how to redefine the definition of success. Currently reach an international Audience on an informative News and Comedy show "Stray Thoughts," where I compile validated sources and research narratives over the weekly issue.

Led a 4-member team to secure a position and complete the National Science Foundation I-Corps Program, conducting over 100 interviews in market research focused on munitions and national environmental and munition safety codes, preparing our product for commercialization.Recognized as Semi-Finalist and Top 36 Start-Ups in Washington DC by The George Washington University New Venture Competition.

 Founded Scientific Research and Design, a youth STEM program with San Marcos High School emphasizing project-based learning and community-based education, permitting high school students to conduct and publish collegiate level research at Texas State University, and middle school students to receive scientific mentorship from high school researchers. Received the 2019 Texas State University Women in Science and Engineering Leadership Award for facilitating student success in STEM (6th-12th grade) and in only the second year of participation in the Society for Science and the Public fair system, becoming one of the most awarded and public schools.

Designed and conducted 20+ interviews with the Miakan-Garza and Tap-Pilam Bands of the Coahuiltecan Peoples in central Texas and Northern Mexico. Recorded cultural, societal, and historical data examining the evolution of Coahuiltecan culture and the connection of contemporary Native Americans to their indigenous identity.

 Received highest Group recognition by the United States Air Force and Squadron Unit Citation for coordination emergency service ground and aerial teams in Search and Rescue Exercises (SARex), mediating high-stress risk management and cohesion of versatile expertise. Broke National Record for most exercises and successful group training in SARex history and personally recognized for personal leadership in 2017 Hurricane Harvey with Presidential Disaster Relief Ribbon. Composed several articles detailing activities and successes of the Tex-Hill Squadron 435 in San Marcos, Texas, encouraging community awareness and support under tight deadlines leading to a 60% increase in volunteers with 80% increase in female participation.-- Squadron recognized for hosting Group V SARex with record breaking attendance of females in a group wide emergency service activity.
