Achieved 10% YTY growth in marketing sourced revenue by creating distinctive events around AI and Data challenges posed in the Retail and Consumer Goods Industry(e.g. food waste). I led both experiential and digital tactics in physical and digital worlds. I developed an IBM proprietary event where senior retail executives visited the headquarters of some of the most data-driven innovators to learn about the scalability of cloud technology. Resulting in over 90% net promoter score and client engagement rates.

My team supported IBM's Watson Customer Engagement portfolio, now AI Applications, for the Communications, Energy & Utilities, Media & Entertainment, and Computer Services sectors. I built dynamic customer engagement strategies for clients by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders including IBM Certified Business Partners. The Watson Customer Engagement portfolio was comprised of Marketing, Commerce, and Supply Chain solutions that support the following requirements: Marketing, Customer Analytics, Selling / Merchandising / eCommerce, Digital Experiences, B2B Integration / Supply Chain Optimization and Managed File Transfer.

Worked with Wayfair's luxury brand Perigold to investigate digital and marketing linkages.

I served as the marketing director of 99Rock, a locally owned, operated, independent radio station that is a commercial entity with over 30,000 listeners. I used persuasive marketing approaches to cold call local businesses to highlight the benefits of advertising. As marketing director I led marketing and advertising approaches focused on maintaining and building client relationships. In one year my team improved trade option advertising by 150% through implementing a strategy designed to attract student listeners via mobile devices.

At Dartmouth College, I was an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Department of German Studies. I successfully completed the Apprentice Teacher Workshop training in the Drill Method. As drill instructor I met four hours a week with small groups of students to complement their formal class time. I focused on oral drills designed according to the Rassias Method to reinforce grammar and vocabulary. This role called not only for linguistic skills, but also for exaggerating my tone of voice, facial expressions, and physical movements for the greater purpose of training students to actually think in German. I learned: how to hold a class’s attention, control the pace of instruction, respond to individual needs and interests, and – above all—be patient. As a result, I have motivated many of them to master the German language.

I interned at the International Literary Festival in Berlin, where I translated program texts from German into English. My role also included work in the media and press departments of the festival. I successfully worked in a German office environment, and helped prepare Berlin for hundreds of visiting international authors.

RSG is a consulting firm focused in modeling and data analytics particularly for the transportation planning, market strategy, environmental management and software sectors. While interning I developed a conjoint based analysis survey for a major credit card company’s reward program. This led to the creation of a new business credit card benefiting frequent travelers. Additionally, I improved the company’s decision-making strategies through advanced analytics and consulting services for financial and agricultural products.

I recently interned at the U.S. Commercial Service within the U.S. Consulate General in Sydney Australia. There I supported the initiatives of the Consulate General and State Department. I conducted market research and competitive analysis to identify market entry strategies for U.S. businesses into Australian markets including the hamburger chain, Johnny Rockets. Additionally I organized U.S. and local trade events with Commercial Specialists for the U.S. Travel Association and Brand USA.

The Ounce of Prevention Fund is a premier non- profit headquartered in Chicago that gives children in poverty the best chance for success in life by advocating for and providing the highest quality care and early childhood education. As a development intern at the Ounce I planned logistics and assisted with research for the annual It’s a Good Business to Invest in Young Children luncheon with over 850 attendees and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel as the guest speaker. I actively collaborated ideas with the development team, and simultaneously worked on diverse projects to further the organization’s mission. I specifically documented the charitable giving history and managed donor relationships by assisting with special donor focused projects, including those for the Buffet, Pritzker and Zell Family offices. Additionally I organized a family focused health and wellness community event to raise awareness for the importance of early-childhood education.

I provided sales assistance, and provided high value customer service store-wide. I increased my team's percentage of store loyalty cards during the holiday season.
