I am a senior nursing student at the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in Hispanic Language and Culture. With my clinical experience, I have formulated a strong interest in maternal and neonatal populations. I am currently employed as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Magee Women's Hospital in the Postpartum unit, where I gain first-hand experience caring for newborn babies and mothers. As for my Spanish-speaking abilities, I plan to help overcome the language barriers that are present in healthcare. After I graduate in April of 2025, I hope to work in either Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, or NICU units and eventually attend a DNP/Midwifery program!
