In this role, I assisted the department in maintaining a virtual presence through both the website and various social medias. Also, I wrote many article types for the biannual departmental newsletter. Through this position, I improved both my verbal and written communication skills along with gaining an understanding of the planning and details that go into effectively marketing a department.

In this position, I served food and beverages to members in normal dining as well as events such as weddings and fundraisers. This job allowed me to develop many skills including exceptional organization, effective multi-tasking, and conversing with people of all walks of life. It also emphasized the importance of being able to work as a team and individually.

In this role, I performed a wide range of tasks from ingredient inventory and prep to interaction with the customer at the point of sale. This position allowed me to increase my prioritization and communication skills as well as my attention to detail in providing a quality final product.
