As staff supervisor, I am responsible for overseeing more than 40 pools, ensuring punctual staff attendance for their shifts and maintaining appropriate chemical levels in each pool. I also liaise with the Director of Staff and other supervisors to address any issues and arrange coverage for pools in the event of absent lifeguards. As part of my duties as a service staff member, I undertake the morning opening of the pools, which involves performing maintenance tasks. These tasks include cleaning, ensuring that the chemical levels, including chlorine and pH, are within the required parameters, and maintaining the proper function of pool machinery. In the late evening, I revisit the pools to close and prepare them for the following day.
