Hi, I'm Isabella Nava, a third-year Environmental Management and Protection student at Cal Poly SLO from Southern California, with a minor in Sustainable Environments. Environmental conservation, sustainability, and education are among my passions. Currently, I serve as a Student Program Assistant for Cal Poly Scholars and as a Childcare Teacher for the City of San Luis Obispo.One of my most rewarding extracurriculars has been volunteering as a Student Mentor for the Mustang Mentorship Program, where I received the Master Mentor Award. During this experience, I provided a high school senior with one-on-one college application guidance and transitional support to higher education through regular communication.I am looking forward to exploring opportunities within environmental conservation and similar fields, where I can contribute to a more sustainable future.
