I worked as a cashier during school mainly on the weekends. In the summer I worked full time and when school started back up again, I only worked weekends during my internship. After my internship ended, I began to work during the week in the free time I had in my schedule with my classes. I worked the busiest times of the week and during Austin's biggest events, Austin City Limits, Formula 1, Black Friday, and different events that would affect how many customers we received. This job was immensely helpful in teaching me more about customer service and efficiency under different time restraints.

I worked as a contact between authors and publicists, and I had been working on updating the Texas Book Festival website at the beginning of my internship. I wrote copy for a few of the panels between authors and moderators. My main job was recording information about authors attending the festival and keeping all of the information organized. I worked both the Texas Teen Book Festival on October 12th assisting with anything that needed to be done during the day, and the Texas Book Festival (Oct. 26-27th). I assisted with preparation and different events on Friday, including the gala and I worked both days of the festival Saturday and Sunday. I was also one of the main organizers and one of the two onsite contacts for 2019's Lit Crawl. Part of my job was to invite authors to participate in our various events, work with different venues to be able to host our events, and communicate with the different organizations taking part in the Lit Crawl.

Organized Lit Crawl event in Angers, with work from Austin authors and volunteers from Austin as well. I worked with local businesses of Angers to allow us to use their space for the event and be able to create a walking tour of literature! Worked alongside a graphic designer for the flyers to be promoted on social media as well as in a pamphlet style for each of the businesses to have for people to take.
