As a Technical Writer at ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions I am responsible for creating product documentation for door access and security solutions. I work in the product organisation, close to marketing and sales, development, support and test. I am responsible for producing tech docs for the entire solutions portfolio, both online content and pdfs, for B2B customers in all sectors within our society, from the private sector of companies within Telecom, Defense, Energy to the public sector, schools and hospitals. I work with a CMS system and I lead lots of the work around technical documentation. Our goal is to make it a USP.

As a Technical Writer at IOPSYS Software Solutions, I had the responsibilities to write and update text and illustrations in online help systems, produce user and troubleshooting guides, reference documentation and programming guides. As an Application Analyst at FIS, I updated education material, support policies, trouble shooting guides and other written communication. I developed a wiki page in SharePoint and transferred the documentation.

As a Technical Services Specialist at Sungard (now FIS) I worked with the product(s) Front Arena. It is a financial trading software / server system including an online brokerage application, FIX connections towards e.g. Reuters and Bloomberg, a market (exchange) Interface, a position keeping client (Prime), Risk management as well as about 30-35 market connections towards e.g. Nasdaq Omx, Genium FI, Xetra and Swiss Exchange. I supported clients in e.g. Scandinavia, Switzerland, Germany and South Africa. Technical writing, working within exchange upgrade projects, performing software installations and testing also belonged to my resonsibilities. I have visited customers in Sweden and Germany to solve problems with upgrade issues on-site. I coordinates requirements.

As an Application Engineer at Oaris (now MACD) I performed daily to ensure that the system was up and running including controlling the databases on the server of the customer in production before Exhange's opening. I wrote all technical documentation in English. During my time at Oaris I worked in a project moving from more Order Management system (OMS) orientation to a complete Trading System (Xkyte). I was the company's single point of contact performing support for their customers in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. I tested all new versions of their market interface according to test cases and specifications. New installations in test and productions through remote connections also belonged to my focus area. I also developed an enterprise Wikipedia together with the rest of the application management team including creating the database connection as well as editing the content and pictures. I also updated the company's web page with icons, pictures and text. The company was a small firm (10-12 employees) with Exchange connections towards Swiss Exchange, Xetra, Frankfurt and Fix brokers e.g. UBS. Oaris is now a part of MACD.
