I am a dynamic professional with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications with an emphasis in social media, proudly earned from Oklahoma State University. My journey to OSU began with a transfer from Collin College in Frisco, where I grew my passion for working in media. I completed my undergraduate degree in an impressive three years, graduating magna cum laude.During my time in college, I was not only committed to my studies but also actively engaged in extracurricular activities. I participated in multiple clubs holding leadership positions in two, including the Association of Women in Communications, Firefighter Combat Challenge Club, and Strategic Communications Club.My previous professional experience was with the Outreach department for the College of Arts and Sciences at OSU. In this role, I contributed to the college’s mission by crafting engaging feature stories, creating compelling social media content, and producing podcasts. This experience allowed me to hone my communication and storytelling skills, which I’m eager to bring to my role as an academic advisor.I am thrilled to continue my journey with OSU, this time as an academic advisor, where I will have the privilege of mentoring and guiding students to achieve their academic and personal goals. My background in strategic communications, combined with my passion for higher education, positions me well to make a positive impact on the students I advise.
