n my position, I have the unique opportunity to contribute my bit to the transformation process of IAA from a traditional motorshow to an international, action guiding mobility platform. For the first time in its over 120 year-history, IAA MOBILIY is being jointly organized by VDA German Association of the Automotive industry and Messe München GmbH - presenting a totally new event concept aiming to reflect the change process the whole mobility sector is undergoing - by opening up to all actors of mobility and addressing both a B2B and B2C target group. The fact that IAA Mobility 2021 actually took place - despite Covid19 - is a success per se - and the fact that everything went so well proofs that this project has not only been the biggest startup in the event industry (pioneering in Munich, 2 merging organizations) but that teamwork really makes the dream work! Co-Head of IAA Conference Ideation and Strategy - Program Planning of B2B-Conference (Topic areas: Sustainability, Urban & Rural Mobility, Automotive, Shared Mobility and MaaS, Last Mile, Impact & Inspiration Topics) - Strategic Conference Partnerships (with WEF, Women in Mobility, University of Sankt Gallen, LSE Cities, BCG, Humboldt Innovation, PwC, Bits & Pretzels, Konzepthaus, Electric Vehicle Associa - Master Classes (Academic and Corporate) For IAA21 we organized an - all hybrid - conference with 4 main stages and 500 + thought leaders as speakers. Co-Head of IAA Virtual - www.iaa.de/virtual For IAA21, we have developed a two-way approach to the digital IAA Experience: B2B: Virtual Event Platform, featuring the entire onsite conference content - and exclusive curated virtual content that has been produced in our TV studio (Livestreams, digital Sessions, Studio Interviews) B2C: Mobility TV Broadcasting-Format, with the Mobility Masters (Expert Talks) and a daily live TV Show on YouTube and TikTok Special ProjectsCreator of IAA MOBILITY Founders Night - Networking Event to match Startups, Investors, Industry Leaders - in collaboration with Bits & Pretzels: The first edition took place at Sept. 9th in the ICM and the closing event in the Siemens HQ. Further partners: AUDI, Sofitel Creator of the IAA Sustainability Lounge and the Business Club House: Curated (themed or neutral) dialogue spaces with conference arena and networking lounge to give companies and brands a chance to position themselves as thought leaders in certain topic areas.
