My name is Bella, and I am passionate about helping people do people things. What people things do people do, you may ask? Allow me to elaborate.People do all kinds of things. Some people work a 9-5 office job until the age of 70. Others are unemployed and spend their days playing darts in their parents’ basement. To each their own.I am a Psychology major with an emphasis in Neuroscience at San Diego State University. I plan to enroll in graduate school and obtain a doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. My passions lie in promoting independence, teaching, entrepreneurship, and continuing to serve the disability community.I believe each individual deserves to engage in occupations that are meaningful to them.I am an out-of-the-box thinker, and a soon-to-be professional problem solver. Now, this may beg the question: if I’m not a practitioner just yet, what am I doing to prepare for a lifetime of helping people do people things?You’ll notice that I have experience in the field through my job at Inclusion Fusion; however, I am multifaceted and also passionate about photojournalism. I have been involved with photography and publications for nearly a decade. Through various leadership positions and probably over a million photographs, I am a storyteller at heart. Will I ever use a camera during my time as an OT? That question is yet to be answered, but this hobby has given me a unique perspective on the world & allowed me to channel my creative side. Photography is my "people thing," and I can't wait until the day comes that I get to teach it to someone else as Dr. Isabella Biunno, OTD, OTR/L.I like to think of OT as the gift of independence, and I hope that the services I provide are the epitome of innovation that excites.
