«Coffee. Gemütlich. Saudade.»Have you ever stumbled on the misunderstanding of Realia or have you ever been misled by the specificity of the Cultureme? As a TRANSLATOR, my job is to correctly interpret these culture-specific elements by adapting them to the reference context. I try to find the right way to facilitate the transition of ideas, concepts and values not only from one language to another but also between different cultures.Through the KNOWLEDGE of different languages I learned to better understand the culture of speakers and how much this influences the use of a language. I converted my PASSION for foreign languages into a challenge. I set goals every day and put all my energy into reaching the "next level". Thanks to my STUDY PATH I had the possibility to set a professional imprint on my passion:- Bachelor in Foreign Languages and Cultures;- Master in Languages for the International Communication;- Master in Specialised Translation (Legal; Tourism; Websites). My EXPERIENCES ABROAD were essential for my personal growth:- Study trip to Lisbon (Portugal);- Ersamus Plus project in Bonn (Germany);- AuPair experience in Wachtberg (Germany). My APPROACH TO WORK? It’s like the Grandma's Secret Recipe, few ingredients but well blended:- a large amount of cheerful mood; - a generous dose of willpower and motivation;- a great desire to learn; - a pinch of self-esteem;- enthusiasm as required. And most of all, I never forget the jewel in the crown: a beautiful smile. The Covid-19 pandemic forced me to modify my initial projects. But now, more motivated than ever, I am once again LOOKING FOR an experience in the languages and translation world. I am sure I have gained by now adequate knowledge that deserves to be put into PRACTICE. I hope to find a work environment that gives me the opportunity to grow professionally without ever neglecting further training. How to contact me:Phone: (+39) 329 188 1483E-Mail Address: feracoisabella@gmail.comSkype: isabella.feraco
