As a Warehouse Assistant at The Recycle Project, my role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our mission to keep electronics out of landfills by making recycling easy and free. I handle various tasks ranging from picking and packing sold products to preparing items for resale, registering and listing them on eBay. Additionally, I'm responsible for organizing, cleaning of used electronics received and ensuring the proper disposal of electronics for recycling.One of the most fulfilling aspects of my job is the direct interaction I have with both customers and donors who visit us daily to deposit their used electronics. I strive to provide excellent customer service while also educating them about the importance of recycling and the impact it has on our environment.
