As a publishing assistant at CamCat Publishing, my role included Submissions and Acquisitions Manager for CamCat Books, the first imprint under CamCat Publishing. In addition to reviewing manuscripts submitted to CamCat Books, I wrote the copy for all of CamCat's social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I created the graphics and images for all social media posts and assisted with graphics for advertisements, TIP sheets, and newsletters. I assisted with graphic design for the website's graphics in addition to cover changes, sizing adjustments, logo changes, and any other graphic design needs. As part of the Social Media and Marketing Team, I came up with strategy, content, and events for the in-house authors amidst their book releases. As part of the Editorial Team, I also assisted with in-house copyediting for first and second pass pages. I also produced CamCat Publishing's podcast, CamCat Chats.

-Reviewed, edited, and selected submissions from 200+ entries for bi-annual publication of the journal.-Collaborated with staff members and EIC to plan, organize, campaign, and meet deadlines for print.-Managed the design layout and print designs of the publication in Adobe InDesign with the creative team.

-Reviewed, selected, and edited submissions for the bi-annual publication of a chapbook. -Submissions are accepted and reviewed from all Texas and Big 12 conference universities and two submissions are selected, one for print publication and one for digital. -Responsible for writing content for the website and collaborating with the staff on campaigning, setting deadlines, and organizing the submissions for print. -Responsible for cover and interior design layout using Adobe InDesign.-Setting deadlines and maintaining contact with the publisher to ensure that the layout and content are ready in print by our deadline and launch party.

-Organize and plan events for members of Sigma Tau Delta such as poetry readings and open mic nights to create a community of scholars among English majors at TCU.-Responsible for managing the organization on campus, communicating opportunities and event available to English majors on campus.-Conduct and lead meetings with the Vice President and Committee about planning events and leading the organization.
