Tip Jar is a discord bot created to gamify server monetization and give the creators a higher percentage of their earnings. Currently, discord server owners monetize through subscriptions and 3rd party donations. The companies that offer server owners these services take up to 30% of subscription earnings. With Tip Jar server members can tip, donate, gift, and buy digital goods with a simple / command... all without leaving the discord chat. And server owners can keep 96% of their earnings. Tip Jar was an exciting first project! We reached over $500 in monthly transactions, across over 80 servers, and had hundreds of unique users. Unfortunately, we learned we didn't closely abide by Stripe's terms and services. Afraid of a lawsuit, we dissolved this project.

Focused on PTC's ThingWorx and Vuforia platforms. Member of the Digital Transformation team; a pre-sales team at PTC that supported opportunity pursuit teams through hosting value workshops. Value workshops take a technical approach in assessing a customer's production, R&D, QA, and field service processes. Through discovery activities, we work to uncover bottlenecks and quantify, in dollars and cents, the cost of inaction and the potential operational cost improvement or revenue improvement.

Connecting engineers with the right tools and resources.

My main duties were:- Fielding incoming customer inquiries regarding MATLAB coding and Simulink modeling issues- Collaboratively working with customers towards workarounds/solutions for complex issues- Effectively communicating and thoroughly documenting workaroundsSome of my most notable contributions are:- Pilot member of the "Engineering Development Group to Commerical Sales" program at MathWorks- Developed a geo-territory, sales revenue analysis application called "Account Intelligence Dashboard" in MATLAB

Abstract:Medtronic asked the team of seniors in the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science — Isabella Reed, Mohammad Ayyash, Bistees Abdelmalak, Devin Weinbender, Husam Wadi and Nicolette Stoddart — to improve the efficiency of their reliability tests for the Midas Rex (MR) cranial and spinal drill. The students created an Automated Cutting Station (ACS) to streamline testing by combining surgical simulation and failure analysis into one step.Reed said the ACS is a mechanical system that dynamically maps the topography of the bone — bovine scapulas are used in testing — and simulates a user-specified surgical procedure using the MR system. The machine consists of a 3-axis computer numerical control machine, National Instruments motion control, a user-friendly machine interface and a laser distance sensor.Personal Responsibilities:• Created software in LabView to control motors on the CNC mill• Developed human machine interface using LabView so the human user could input their desired test type for the drill and monitor the feedback• Utilized National Instrument tools for data acquisition, motor control, and GUI interface• Motivated all members to focus on our progress with weekly updates and meetings• Utilized MS Excel to organize team goals and individual member’s tasks and due dates• Directed team to complete deliverables 100% on time and exceeding expectations

• Managed a medical human experiment for surgical robotic controls with over 30 subjects• Trained with surgical residents in manual laparoscopic surgical procedures and robotic procedures (da Vinci) at UT Southwestern• Learned C coding language to run blue-tooth electromyograph (EMG) sensors in less than one month of start date• Created signal processing algorthims in MATLAB to analyze EMG data
