Summer substitute. The area manager position at Hemfrid involves having full responsibility for the personnel, the customers, and the revenue in a specific geographical area. The position also includes planning of operations, scheduling and sales. During the summer of 2019, I was also staff manager (bemanningsansvarig) for the geographical area malmöcity, being responsible for Hemfrid personnel. As the employees were working at the customers' houses, most of my management was office-based. The position also included administrative tasks such as scheduling, administration of employment contracts and corresponding with customers.
