Working in the UFHCC's Office of Community Outreach and Engagement, my team and I work to provide referrals to appropriate community, clinical, and social resources for patients to combat breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer throughout UFHCC's 23-county catchment area. My role includes collaborating with Clinical Community Navigators to coordinate proper patient screening, testing, and follow-ups as part of COE office's clinical programs, and working with community partners to facilitate execution of events aimed at promotion of health behaviors and cancer screening among underserved populations by checking in, checking out, and translating for patients.

As a Standardized Patient for the UF College of Medicine students, my role is to portray as a realistic patient for the students' patient-interaction assessments and to provide meaningful and constructive feedback to students, emphasizing a patient-centered care approach.

My experience in the WEC department involved collaborating with employees from the US Geological Survey (USGS), the University of Florida, and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. My role involved assisting with the planning of the annual Florida Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit Coordinating Committee Meeting, transfering UF IFAS research work orders onto a centralized digital platform, and performing clerical duties such as copying, faxing, scanning, filing of office records.

Trained over 12 new instructors to plan student sessions and to effectively communicate with students' parents. Created tailored swimming lesson plans for students to improve students' swimming skills. Reported student progress to their parents.

Urban Potential Laboratories is a 14-week program designed to upskill learners to enter middle-skill jobs in the field of healthcare. Collaborated with Florida International University's Office of Engagement to promote the Urban Potential Laboratories Program. Constructed and managed an advertising campaign through Facebook and Instagram, resulting in over 10,000 reactions and 35,000 views.
