This role is centered within the Learning Development team. I supervise a team of Associate Learning Experience Developers, contributing to the continued enhancement of online and blended education at the University. Responsibilities include assisting academic staff effectively using technology in their teaching practices, creating and maintaining detailed guidance and process documentation related to course development, and ensuring online learning content is engaging, accessible and aligned with pedagogic goals.

This role was centered within the Learning Development team. I supported the University's transition to an upgraded online learning environment, by providing staff with training and support on Moodle 4.1 and accompanying coursework management tools.

This role was centered within the Technology Enhanced Learning team, and aligned with the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. Responsibilities included contributing to the implementation of online course content, ensuring the smooth running of virtual lectures, seminars, and assessments, and helping academics acquire and use a variety of teaching/learning technologies.

I was part of a group that researches the nature and progression of breast and pancreatic cancers. Responsibilities included performing experiments, processing data, checking/ordering stock, carrying out risk assessments, attending lab meetings/conferences, and training undergraduates.

I am the first author of a scientific review titled: “The diversity and evolution of electric organs in Neotropical knifefishes”. This was published by EvoDevo, a reputable and interdisciplinary journal that integrates cutting-edge research on evolutionary, developmental and ecological biology.

I represented the University at in-person and online events such as open days and offer-holder visit days. I ran campus tours and taster laboratory sessions, shared my experiences studying Biological Sciences and provided advice and guidance to those seeking a higher education.

Responsibilities included setting up and opening the restaurant, greeting and seating customers, taking orders, serving, making drinks and processing payments through the till. The role gave me the opportunity to develop my customer service skills and learn to work effectively in a highly pressured environment.
