I am a Clinical Research Coordinator at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Our research emphasizes population health and healthcare improvement strategies. Additionally, my focus is in the medical field, that is mission-oriented around patient care, quality treatment, and focused on the health and wellbeing of the patient, as well as, making life better for the patient. My background comes from experience in clinical emergency medicine pharmacy, as well as intensive care clinical pharmacy. My research experience is as a clinical Co-Investigator to emergency and intensive care medicine research. My hands on research experience, as well as clinical lab experience includes working as a Research Assistant at UTSW, primarily clinical research collaborations, as well as in immunohistocompatibility, confocal microscopy, qPCR, electron microscopy, mutagenesis, bioinformatics, and advanced staining techniques, such as ORO. Additional lab based experience has included, gel electrophoresis, PCR assay methods, T-vector gene cloning, genomic DNA extraction and DNA amplification, DNA/genetic sequencing, blue and white screening, gram staining, florescence microscopy, CFU spread plating, minimal and rich media production, turbidity measurements, serial dilutions, total DNA extraction, metagenomics analysis and microbiomes analysis.
