Aiding in the communication and distribution of services and information provided by the National Immigration Forum. Creating flyers, social media outreach, and organizing events to build community.

Aiding the residence hall here in Washington, DC, by serving over hundreds of students by providing them with basic needs resources and care.

As President of the Pre Law Society within the upcoming academic year, I will oversee all events and innerworkings of our society as we plan upcoming opportunities for our students to become invested.

At the Pre Law Society, and as the Events Chair, I have organized events where different lawyers are able to come and speak to our students to give them a deeper perspective on what law school, and a legal career will look like. We have had the UCI Dean of Law come and give a mock law class, along with Deans and Representatives from UCLA, George Washington, Tulane, Boston University, Texas, USF, and Pepperdine.

At the Housing Office at UCSB, I work to help our students have easier access to housing resources, and aid them in their journey to find safe and affordable housing in the Santa Barbara county while they pursue an education here.

At Weldon and Hass we deal with Trusts and Probates of those in the Santa Barbara County. I am able to draft a myriad of legal documents while consulting on different cases that come into contact with our office. Additionally, I handle our clients accounting and organize their finances to make sure it is in according to their trust or probate.

In AS, I am the Commissioner of Climate and Communication for the Board of Student Advocates where we take on individual cases from students at the university along with advocating for different causes that students take interest in. We are currently working to have a course on the Chumash people whose land UCSB was built on, along with textbook affordability.

At Cause, I work to provide easier access in both English and Spanish to awareness surrounding the toxicity of pesticides that farmworkers across the US and specifically California are exposed to. Additionally, I have been able to do research into how these pesticides affect farmworkers health–specifically pregnant mothers who are not given the time away from the fields that is required for both themselves and their future baby to sustain their health.

I handled freight throughout graveyard shifts in order to disperse our merchandise throughout the store. With the help of my crew we unloaded multiple trucks a night, and organized it for the morning shift to come.

At Pollies Pies, I worked with my coworkers to maintain a healthy and organized environment despite the fast paced life within the service industry. I was able to negotiate conflict–if any arose–between customers and the service supplied to them, and was able to listen to our customers and cater to their needs.

At my residence hall, I worked with my fellow staff and Residence Director to supply helpful communication and organization as we moved students in and out of the halls whilst also negotiating conflict and any disruptions.

As the Mental Health Chair on my Residence Halls board, I worked to make sure our students knew the resources they had access to in order for them to be rigorous in their academic work while sustaining a healthy mindset and work ethic.

At my high school, I was determined to help my peers as we studied together through topics of History, Policy work, Economics, and English to succeed and develop a deep understanding of the curriculum provided to us.

Through CCEJ I was able to complete over 40 hours of training to help facilitate and foster conversations surrounding social justice and how we can have these types of conversations in academic and social settings.

My first job at Rise Up Athletics was a wonderful way to begin to learn how to effectively communicate with customers as we organized parents schedules for when they would be able to bring in their children for classes–whilst also upholding the COVID-19 policies in place to sustain a healthy environment for the kids to continue exercising and having fun in.
