I began work at Riverlife as the Event Manager where I planned, budgeted and executed countless weddings and other celebrations. On the day of an event I oversaw its completion including but not limited to handling the staff and meeting any requirements. This resulted in many glowing reviews and happy brides and grooms.In January of 2018, I was promoted to Sales Manager of two venues, where I oversaw substantial financial growth within both and ensured targets were met weekly.

On a working holiday visit to South Africa, I worked at Bonomanzi Game Reserve. Despite the difference in culture and language, as well as my brief tenure (due to visa restrictions), I improved daily operations at the reserve still in effect today.

Working for this company whilst I was studying had been fantastic event experience for me. The range in events that I had the opportunity to work on had given me confidence, a variety of innovative, business ideas for my future and different working conditions with a diverse customer range has only benefitted the growth of my character.

Working part time as a waitress and once I turned 18 behind the bar at The Lamb I learnt many skills at the Country Pub. There are many job roles required in this occupation of work, each aspect requires different skills. Being able to make customers feel happy and comfortable is key in order to be a successful waitress and bar tender.
