For me, counselling (and life itself) is all about helping others to develop the skills and wisdom that supports a balanced and joyful life. I believe that this balance comes when we embrace our full spectrum of emotions and treat ourselves, and fellow human beings, with curiosity and compassion. I enjoy integrating contemporary western psychology and ancient eastern practices such as mindfulness into my work with children, young people, and adults. I am a qualified child and adult mindfulness teacher and certified to deliver the Cultivating Emotional Balance course, an evidence-based meditation and emotion regulation training devised by renowned scientist Dr Paul Ekman and contemplative scholar Alan Wallace.
