➙Leveraged Open Telemetry instrumentation to collect server-side network activity trace data to display important metrics that developers would find useful to utilize while creating their application➙Websockets were used to create a link between the server and client side in order to give live feed of the metrics tracked from Open Telemetry to give the most updated information while using the application through a Node server with Express and custom middleware➙Executed D3.js to dynamically display and automatically update graphs on the dashboard; a drop down was available to select different endpoints in the application➙Showcased a React dashboard leveraging state management to display the server-side network activity➙Compiled and deployed the product as an open-source npm package to ease the installation of Nextar’s webvital component, network-activity, and dashboard
