Third year marine science student at Griffith university graduating 2023. I am a motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic undergraduate with a heart set on the ocean. From a young age mesmerised by marine life and the beauty of the ocean, as it sustains itself has inspired a whole new way of life. Driven by the ocean is where the motive to study marine environments was instilled. Throughout my studies I will obtain the knowledge to further my skills in the scientific field as I strive to gain a deeper understanding of the various areas of marine biology. Educated in the biological, chemical and physical aspects of the ocean along with laboratory experience, quantitative and statistical efficiency, an opened minded approach to marine science will be delivered through the application of these scientific skills. Invested in environment, a future in marine restoration and conservation with coastal management principles is where I see myself. Preserving biodiversity through these skills will benefit oceanic environments without compromising the sustainability of the future.
