Born in Paris, Isabelle Boreham studied Art and Textile Design. She worked in Paris, London & New York before settling in Sydney in 1982. After many successful years in the Australian textile industry ‐ notably designing the Torch Relay uniforms for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games ‐ Isabelle made the move in 2010 and founded the La Source Australia Art Studio. Her daughter Melanie Beresford joined the studio in 2012 after finishing her Masters of Fine Arts at COFA. Together the mother and daughter artist duo create art inspired by Australia’s rich landscape and their French heritage. They are a proudly Australian Made and eco-friendly family business, known for their colourful and bold artworks. Through their art, they seek to express and share the joy experienced when connecting with nature and the world around them.The La Source Australia collection includes original paintings, limited edition fine art prints, and a collection of homeware eco-friendly gifts such as linen tea-towels, tote bags, puzzles, greeting cards, height charts, and books. Stocked at various shops across Australia including the Sydney Opera House Shop, Royal Botanic Garden Shop, Parliament House Shop, National Arboretum and National Museum of Australia.
