Two-time Creative Schools Fund recipient in partnership with Hernandez Middle School Whole People Movement is a dance education organization that uses dance to educate the whole child. WPM connects dance with other content areas and facilitates interdisciplinary dance residencies that culminate in final performance projects. During a WPM residency, students will learn dance fundamentals and collaboratively create choreography to connect to themselves and the world around them. Recent residencies have included:-"Dance Against Bullying"- Dance, Poetry, and Technology-"#girlPOWER"- Dance and Female Empowerment-"My Dancing Body Systems"- Dance and Anatomy-"Emotions in Motion"- Dance, Visual Art, and Social Emotional Wellness-"Our Generation"- Dance and Social Justice-"I Am, We Are: Exploring Individual and Community Identity Through Dance"- Dance, Poetry, and Social Emotional Wellness-"P.R.I.D.E.
