Since I started my professional career, I have filled many positions, mostly at Bombardier: Technical Drafter, Manufacturing Engineer, Team Lead, Supervisor, Industrial Engineer, Senior Business Analyst, Project Manager, Training Specialist, Manufacturing Specialist, Process Improvement Specialist and Manager. I have always been intrigued by how everything works!Through all those positions, I have always been looking to:- Improve processes and working methods involving all its stakeholders;- Identify business opportunities fostering holistic wealth and eliminating waste;- Develop our human resources through coaching and sharing my knowledge with junior team members;- Promote a healthy performance management by putting SMART objectives in place with the right key performance indicators and the right tools to identify opportunities and put action plans in place;- Provide a detail analysis of the upcoming projects and supply complete schedules based on assumptions that take into considerations the actual economical, geographical and demographical situation as well as a risk analysis."Why Building Inspection" you could ask, "it is so different to what you were doing before?" Because I want to make a difference and because I was intrigued by how everything is "supposed to work"! (got also caught a couple of times paying a lot for someone else's mistakes)A house is most probably the biggest investment of your life. My goal is to help you know more about the building you are about to purchase and make you aware of situations that can potentially harm you, your family and your investment... before it is too late!As for my implication in our professional association and the College, it has always been a natural trait of mine to give back and get implicated where again, I can make a difference. It has been two exceptional years with the upcoming new standard of practice, rules and regulations regarding the Building Inspection domain, and I am proud to be part of it.Now, only 3 years after I started this new journey in construction, I was a part of a great team in APCHQ for 2 years, helping and guiding our home builders and integrating building insoectors in the APCHQ. Since April 2024, I am back as a building inspector and teacher.I thrive to be always learning, helping others learn and improve their working methods. I am back to my core competencies when I started, almost 30 years ago, as a Manufacturing Engineer!
