Joined Ficari (a 40 year-old Canadian family luxury furniture business) with the mandate to oversee business strategy, product design and development across B2B and B2C customers. Key areas of responsibility include product concept development, product testing, market research, pricing strategies, external partnership management. Reported into the owner/CEO. Initiated and implemented the brand launch strategy marketing budget inclusive of a full website eCom build with the digital agency, paid advertising and social media campaign support. Established product sales with Shopify platform for Residential clients and managed sales through Brand Website for hospitality and design clients.

Recruited to accelerate the business for a luxury artisan furniture company. Main agenda was to spearhead product development and maximize corporate profitability through process optimization, improved customer relations, strengthened marketing and digital campaign initiatives - and establishing corporate business goals to achieve profitability targets. Reported into the Founder and CEO.

Promoted into a leadership position to facilitate and inspire growth via redefining luxury hospitality through category curation across uniforms & collateral, tableware, art and accessories, etc. Steered $100MM annual spend on financial planning, strategic product development & selection. Ensured brand standards delivered against budget through overhauling financial purchasing, OS&C procurement requirements, and enforcing FF&E product standards.

Evangelized and promoted a consistent brand by strategically building relationships with owners, developers, vendors, and area Presidents. Management across capital infrastructure programs, renovation, FF&E and OS&C for 17+ hotels and the supervision of 6 large-scale projects and hotel conversions, IE: project scope, budgeting, resourcing, funding, roadmaps, timelines, etc. Capital planning for 5-year enterprise projects.

Promoted into a new role with more responsibility. Directed $50MM+ spend for operating supplies, consumables, and equipment, leading a 9-member procurement and buying team, inclusive of Procurement Managers, Senior Buyers, Coordinators and Administrative Assistants. Grew positive bottom-line results for 300+ corporate vendors and increased operational efficiencies through the successful implementation of the Birchstreet Purchasing System.
