Talent Acquistion Assistant
CurrentJob Creation & Advertising:Assist hiring managers with creating job vacancies in PageUP, including drafting position descriptions as needed.Post job advertisements on SEEK and other relevant platforms.Agency Liaison:Collaborate with national and local employment agencies to source candidates.Training & Support:Provide one-on-one training to managers on how to use PageUP effectively.Assist in converting agency labor hire workers to permanent employees.Pre-Employment Medicals:Schedule pre-employment medicals for both white-collar and blue-collar workers.Implement a system for timely and efficient review of medicals for employment purposes.Candidate Screening & Interviews:Conduct phone screenings for various roles including truck drivers, mechanics, and yard hands.Coordinate interview schedules and support the interview process.Relationship Building:Build rapport and effectively communicate the role to potential candidates.Proactively work with hiring managers to fill vacancies in a fast-paced environment.Graduate Program Management:Manage the candidate lifecycle for the Graduate Program, including selection, progression, and communication.Respond to requests and questions from all stakeholders.Recruitment Reporting:Generate weekly recruitment reports using Excel, tracking new starters and open vacancies.Incentive Program Management:Manage the Driver Sign-On & Referral Bonus Program, including tracking eligible candidates and processing bonuses.Liaise with hiring managers and payroll to ensure timely payments.Compliance & Documentation:Audit Australian Work Rights (AWR) documentation to ensure all active employees have up-to-date records on file.Maintain People and Culture databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for payroll and onboarding purposes.Administrative Support:Perform ad hoc administration duties as required.
