As a freelance writer, my clients rely on my ability to stay on schedule and have a keen eye for detail. My proofreading and editing skills are something that I depend on everyday. I have done work ranging between simply being a beta-reader for new authors, to being an editor for a novel waiting to be published. Outside of my passion for editing, I have also worked with clients to do SEO work on articles, write a variety of articles and blog posts, and copywriting. Internships: My past internships include two amazing companies: Praxis Fiber Workshop and Shambhala Publications. Praxis is a nonprofit, where the community in Cleveland, Ohio have the opportunity to show off their creativity and come together as a community. While I interned at Praxis, I helped curruate art galleries every two weeks. This includes taking down previous art exhibits, painting the walls white to hide any marks, and then working with the new artist to exhibit the new art in the given space. I also was there this summer when Praxis create the farming of their own Indigo dye. Once a week, I helped weed and care for the plants. This was important so that Praxis was utilizing our own supplies instead of spending endless amounts for dying fabrics. I was also apart of the Praxis Truck for events, which was a truck Praxis had built an on-the-go loom in the back of that we could reach the community on the go. https://praxisfiberworkshop.com At Shambhala Publications, I was on the marketing of the courses team. Shambhala creates courses from some of the most popular books/authors for an online course to take to dive deeper. At my time there, I did various task, like search out where certain authors appear on the internet, create workbooks for our courses, or create short clips in Adobe Premiere to market on social media sites.
