As a North American Export Assistant, I serve as intermediate between foreign buyers and the head office (seller). I plan and coordinate the international shipments of wines. I work with importers, shippers and agents. As the assistant Maitre de Chai, I assist the Maitre de Chai in the daily work of wine making and wine storage, from the grape harvest in the Fall through different steps of the fermentation process, all the way to bottling. The work comprise of ensuring hygiene standards, managing inventory levels, and of course, tasting. The winery makes 11 different kinds of wines.
