Hi, I’m Isabel Mata—a queer, neurodivergent storyteller passionate about mindfulness, mental health advocacy, and helping people show up as their most authentic selves. My work lives at the intersection of creativity, well-being, and social impact, where I use storytelling as a tool for connection, self-discovery, and change.Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of writing for Cosmopolitan, Wondermind, Well&Good, and dozens of other publications, diving into topics like mental health, relationships, and wellness. My podcast, “Being Yourself Loudly,” is a love letter to authenticity and a safe space to de-stigmatize mental illness, especially in the workplace.My career has been a blend of creativity, strategy, and heart—from leading global brand marketing campaigns at L’Oréal USA to designing mindfulness workshops and wellness programs for individuals, universities, and corporations. I even co-created a digital exhibit, Confronting Hate Together, that brought communities together to confront bias and promote understanding.Whether I’m facilitating a workshop, coaching a team, or crafting a story, my goal is to help people and organizations embrace vulnerability, connect deeply, and thrive authentically.
