Strategic planning for the direction of the CIT Alumni Office and CIT Alumni Association.Managing CIT Alumni Office staff.Managing budgets for various alumni events.Preparation of reports and submissions as required.Managing communication with the CIT student body and alumni community.Project manage CIT First Destinations Survey and Report.Managing the public relations profile of the CIT Alumni Office and CIT Alumni Association through writing press releases, radio interviews, presentations, briefs, articles, marketing material, etc.Providing content and carrying out editorial duties for the alumni publications including the alumni CIT E-newsletter.Encouraging and managing volunteers to support various programmes and initiatives organised by the CIT Alumni Office.Responsibility for the alumni website, online community and bespoke alumni database (Raiser’s Edge).Communicating with Institute departments regarding alumni events and initiatives.Attending national and international events for the CIT alumni community.Promoting the alumni community to current students.Organisation of events, reunions, functions, meetings or information sessions.

Provide administrative assistance in the area of enterprise development by working with the various internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate, manage and support current European projects in the Centre.Promote the activities of the Centre in the area of social media, PR and marketing.Develop and update website content and management of site SEO.Catalyse and promote the entrepreneurial supports available in CIT.Provide assistance in the implementation of the Hincks Centre strategic plan. Support project and funding proposals and applications.Support the Hincks Centre in project management, research and training.Attend appropriate events and meetings internally and externally.Coordinate and manage the annual CIT Enterprise Camp for enterprising 14 to 16 year oldsEstablish contacts with further related projects within the Institute, wider regional and national/international projects to identify synergies and complementary activities that can be exploited.

Coordinating and promoting a range of entrepreneurship activities on campus at CIT. These activities include a Summer Internship programme for student Entrepreneurs, an intensive incubation programme for start-up businesses and an Enterprise Camp for entrepreneurial teenagers.

To promote, develop and support entrepreneurship at CIT, and encourage a spirit ofentrepreneurship amongst all students based on campus.

Continuous involvement with entrepreneurship activities in the Rubicon Centre while working in the enterprise environment of CIT.
