About Isadora O'Brien

I am currently a second year veterinary student at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I love the challenge and variety that a career in veterinary medicine has to offer. I especially enjoy surgery and pathology. What got me into this career was my love of science, medical curiosity, and great appreciation for our furry friends. I am from a very rural area in western Washington and would love to work in a rural mixed practice situation. One of my major goals as a future DVM is to be able to treat the full gamut of domestic species, including exotics and backyard farm animals. I also believe in creating a strong bond with clients and continuing to establish trust in the profession. When I'm not buried in my textbooks or working at a clinic, I enjoy spending my time outdoors and with my friends and family.
