I had the pleasure of being grouped with Isaiah for our third project at WDI where his focus and planning proved invaluable in achieving our ambitious goals. During the planning phase, he comfortably took the lead in transforming our rudimentary vision into an actionable plan with clear objectives. Isaiah took the lead on delegation, electing personally to handle the most challenging task of hooking up our backend routes and framework which would support the entire project.
For those who have worked on full-stack applications, you will doubtlessly know how common it is to become lost in feature development and bug fixes. On our project, Isaiah’s most valuable asset was his unwavering focus on the end product. All ideas were heard and explored fairly but ultimately weighed against the original blueprint, ensuring we had a viable product to submit within our limited timeframe. At any point in development, Isaiah was able to rattle off the tasks each team member was working on and exactly how they tied into the final functionality. A master planner, excellent delegator, and example of hard work; Isaiah proved that more than just an excellent learner, he's an exceptional leader.
