While considering the possibility of PT school, I decided to get exposed to the physical therapy and rehab environment so I am currently working with Drayer as a PT technician. Responsibilities include:• Assist patients with their assigned therapy exercises• Prepare and regularly clean the treatment areas for the patients and therapists• Communicate with physical therapists about certain techniques and patient responses• Common office coordinator tasks such as answering calls and appointment scheduling

AROMA (“A Revolution of Missional Athletes”) is a sports ministry program within the Messiah University Athletics department that challenges students to use their gifts and passions in sport to build God’s Kingdom on earth, becoming the aroma of Christ to the world (2 Corinthians 2). Summer Academy is a summer-long intensive service-oriented program that invites a small group of athletes to journey together and grow in relationship with Christ while serving in various mission opportunities. During this experience, this Summer Academy team:• Partnered with TLA (Training Leader through Athletics) in providing physical and leadership training for high school athletes, building mentor relationships with each student to encourage Godly attributes of commitment, character, and confidence within sport• Coached three-straight weeks of AROMA All-Sports camps, using athletics as a vehicle through which to share the truth of the gospel with elementary students and cultivate Christ-like disciplines within their character• Partnered with CFC (Center for Champions) in Harrisburg as we aided in designing lesson plans and built relationships with kids and teenagers who are receiving the love of Christ through life-on-life mentoring relationships with committed adult believers• Received discipleship training and team community development in the wilderness of Shenandoah National Park• Engaged in a loving and Christ-centered community together on campus, emulating the service, worship, and accountability of the Acts 2 church• Partnered with Arrowhead Bible Camp for James Project, which is a mission opportunity to serve as support staff for camps that impact developmentally disabled adults.
