Started a boutique analog audio effects operation, responsibilities include schematic and PCB design, graphic design, and soldering/assembly.Launched first product - the Anachrome Electronics Seam Ripper - in Feb 2024. A multiband overdrive and distortion effect utilizing a hifi crossover.

Performed testing relating to wireless synchronization of all-in one speakers and wireless home theater systems in Heos, Apple, Google, and Amazon platforms. Compiled and reported device performance across platforms and connectivity options.Used LTSpice and Altium Designer for schematic and PCB simulation/design

The Explorchestra Tech Specialist is responsible for setting up percussion and electronic instruments (Drum kit, amplifiers, keyboard, auxiliary percussion etc.) for every rehearsal, as well as setting up microphones and other recording equipment for a recorded live performance once a semester.

The Explorchestra A/V Specialist is responsible for working with the Tech specialist in setting up recording equipment (both audio and video) for concerts, as well as editing and releasing the Audio and video for the concerts to the public.As A/V specialist I primarily used Ableton Live to record and mix concerts as well as Sony Vegas and VSDC to process and edit concert video.

During the internship I completed tasks required of the middle/final stages of product development as well as participating in research and development efforts. Product development tasks and responsibilities:- Performed acoustical testing documenting product changes in environmental tests- Conducted acoustic tests using Audio Precision sequences- Streamlined acoustical analysis procedures by developing a MATLAB script that allowed AP output data to be readable for analysis - replaced manual Excel-based data analysis- Conducted acoustic response tests for Shure products using probe and B&K microphonesAdvanced development tasks and responsibilities:- Worked with MATLAB and SigmaStudio to develop a DSP approaches for multi-speaker systems- Working with a team of peers to simulate acoustical phenomena- Calibrating and conducting repairs on loudspeaker systems- Perceptual analysis of DSP applications- Conducted Klippel tests on drivers, using results to aid in development efforts

Responsible for NACC charting for jazz played at WHRW, seeking out music to add to the physical jazz library, maintaining a relationship with promotion companies, and cultivating a culture of jazz listening and discussion among members of the station body

Worked with a team to explore ideas in machine learning and robotics within the Image and Acoustics Signals Analysis research stream.Projects and topics of research: - Fall 2018: Looking into the use of machine learning in the decoding of lip movement into text- Spring 2019: Research in using machine learning to interpret ambient acoustical data to make determinations of environment (i.e. Using reverberation, footsteps, crowd noise to determine room size, crowds, room material, presence of humans)- Fall 2019: Research and implementation of a robot navigational system. With the use of Magic Leap augmented reality goggles we were able to develop a mapping and navigation system that used gaze tracking to direct a robot to a destination
