Growing up in East Houston, I was exposed to the energy industry from a young age. My curiosity deepened as I began exploring Houston's climatetech scene, where I developed a keen interest for the intersection of finance, energy markets, and sustainability.As a portfolio manager for the EPI team at Bayou Capital Group, UH's premier investing club, I analyze energy market trends, formulate investment theses, build valuation models, and assess the financial health of companies. My previous internship with CalWave Power Inc. provided hands-on exposure to the thriving landscape of climatetech, reinforcing the importance of putting capital in the hands of the right founders.
